Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Rize ("Rize," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Rize mobile application (the "App"). Rize is operated as a sole proprietorship based in California, United States.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your information, contact us at rizeapphelp@gmail.com.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Who This Policy Applies To
The App is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided us with information, please contact us at rizeapphelp@gmail.com and we will take steps to delete it.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
Information you provide directly
- Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. If you sign in using Apple or Google, we receive the account identifier and basic profile information those services provide.
- Business profile information. As you use the App, you provide information about your business or business idea, including business name, business category, job and customer records, scheduled jobs, revenue and expense entries, and related notes you choose to enter.
- Coach conversations. When you use the in-app AI Coach feature, we collect the messages and content you send, including any text and information you provide during those conversations.
Information collected automatically
- Identifiers. A unique user identifier is assigned to your account. If you enable push notifications, we collect a device push token used to deliver those notifications.
- Approximate and precise location. If you grant location permission, the App accesses your device location to center the map view. You can decline or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.
- Diagnostic and crash data. We collect crash reports and basic diagnostic information to help us identify and fix problems, associated with your user identifier.
- Subscription and purchase information. When you purchase a subscription, our subscription provider records purchase events and entitlement status associated with your user identifier. Payment is processed by Apple; we do not collect or store your payment card details.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features;
- Create and manage your account and your business profile;
- Provide the AI Coach feature and generate responses to your messages;
- Process and manage your subscription and verify your access to premium features;
- Send you push notifications you have enabled;
- Display map and location-based features when you grant permission;
- Diagnose technical problems, monitor stability, and improve the App;
- Communicate with you about your account, support requests, and important changes;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your personal information with third parties for their own advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We rely on the following third-party service providers to operate the App. These providers process information on our behalf, and each has its own privacy practices:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and backend hosting. Stores your account, business profile, and related data.
- Anthropic — provides the AI model that powers the Coach feature. When you use the Coach, the content of your conversation (including business details you reference) is sent to Anthropic to generate a response.
- Google — provides AI image generation features, Google Maps and Places services, and (if you use it) Google Sign-In.
- Apple — processes subscription payments through the App Store and provides Sign in with Apple if you use it.
- RevenueCat — manages subscription entitlements and purchase status.
- Sentry — collects crash and diagnostic data to help us monitor and improve App stability.
- Expo / Apple Push Notification service — delivers push notifications you have enabled.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these providers to understand how they handle information.
5. How We Share Information
We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- With service providers listed above, solely to operate the App on our behalf.
- For legal reasons, if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Rize, our users, or others.
- In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Privacy Policy or notify you of any changes.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data from our systems, including your account, business profile, job and customer records, and Coach conversations. Some information may persist for a limited period in backups or as required by law. Crash and diagnostic data held by our providers is retained according to their own retention schedules.
